Kiwico Kiwi Crate: Cannonball Launcher
KiwiCo’s Kiwi Crate is great for keeping kids busy for an afternoon! First, they make the project in their crate (sometimes with help from a parent). Then, they can play with what they’ve made. Today’s project is the Cannonball Launcher Kiwi Crate.

This Week on the Homestead 4/26/2020 – 5/2/2020
This week we have pictures of many, many plants and animals: cactus flowers, tree flowers, birds, bunnies, and a sunset. We haven't done very much on the homestead this week, but it certainly has given back to us in the form of beautiful things.

Double Chocolate Ice Cream
This Double Chocolate Ice Cream uses two kinds of chocolate. It has cocoa powder and dark chocolate. I used 100% cacoa chocolate bars in the ice cream which made a dark, rich, and somewhat bitter ice cream. The whole family greatly enjoyed the this ice cream.

Vanilla Panna Cotta with Pomegranate Jelly
Though it does involve some stovetop work, this dessert doesn't heat up the kitchen. The pomegranate jelly has a tart flavor that balances well with the sweetness of the creamy panna cotta.
