This cinnamon ice cream has been a long time coming. The kids and I have been asking Josh to make this ever since we moved out here to Arizona. Homemade cinnamon ice cream is just calling for apple pie, so of course, we made some apple pie too!
After a long time away from making macarons, I baked some on Saturday. I decided to make vanilla shells and just use different-flavored fillings: root beer, Dalgona coffee, and pomegranate. They didn't turn out great, but at least they were edible!
Lynn and I have both become coffee snobs, so it is only natural to make coffee ice cream. This ice cream was made using Trung Nguyen G7 Pure Black instant coffee and had a strong coffee flavor.

This Double Chocolate Ice Cream uses two kinds of chocolate. It has cocoa powder and dark chocolate. I used 100% cacoa chocolate bars in the ice cream which made a dark, rich, and somewhat bitter ice cream. The whole family greatly enjoyed the this ice cream.
