Pomegranate Jelly

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 4 cup pomegranate juice
  • 3 cup sugar, divided
  • 3 tbsp less sugar pectin

Instructions

Directions:

  • Combine 1/4 cup of the sugar with the pectin. Add the combined pectin and sugar mixture to the pomegranate juice. Bring to a boil, while stirring to dissolve the mixture.
  • Add the remaining sugar to the pot, and return to a rolling boil for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add the jelly to the sterilized canning jars.
  • Can the jelly using a water bath for 5 minutes.
  • If the jars seal correctly, your jelly should last at least a year when stored in a cool dark location.
